One of the greatest benefits that the internet has given us has been the increased choice of just about anything we want to buy - however odd or off the wall something is, chances are that someone sells it! As an example, you are doing a used car search on the internet. If you want a 25 year old mini with particular features or in a particular colour, you will be able to find out pretty instantly if there is one for sale. You don't have to put up with second or third choice, if it is for sale; chances are that you will find it. Or if you want some seven inch boots in red in a size 8 – no problem, there are specialist firms that cater for this. Any type of boot, any item of clothing, it is incredible how many companies there are specialising in the unusual. And books!! Never has there been so much accessible choice, and usually at a great price too. Whatever you are interested in, there is bound to be somebody that has written about it. And if there isn't, maybe you should consider writing the first one!
In the words of that Status Quo classic 'Whatever You Want' and this certainly applies to the wealth of selection and the ease of purchasing that the internet has brought to us.
